For the love of yoga...
My loving relationship with movement began while growing up as a dancer and performer. Naturally, this shaped it's way to discovering other modalities of physical expression.
I stumbled upon the healing powers of this practice during my time in graduate school in North Carolina. With yoga teacher training always on my mind, I began teaching first as a barre instructor in NC and NYC, where I developed my voice and passion for assisting others through community and music, ultimately leading to the thought that: no matter where we are, what we do, what life may bring, we are always deserving of carving out time to de-stress.
Fast forward to today, I am certified in vinyasa and yin yoga and have taught countless privates, groups, and in-person studio classes in New York City and Los Angeles.
gentle warrior came out of a need to bring back an element that has slowly dissolved in many yoga spaces:
simplicity. the basics. to sweat. to move. openly, joyfully, and unapologetically.
without all the extra stuff.
with humility and love, I hope this space becomes an extension of yourself.
